If you’re not one for spending your annual surf trip aboard a surf charter, then look no further. Generally cheaper than a boat trip; a surf vacation to one of our land camps has much more flexibility in terms of trip duration, budget & wave choice. The main surfing regions are found in South Sumatra as well an extensive archipelago found 150kms off the west coast of the mainland. These regions include the Mentawai, Telo, Banyak islands and Simeulue.
Each of the surf camps represent a mix of the best options throughout these regions and offer excellent value for money no matter what your budget is. If you’re unsure of which surf zone you’re after, then please check our destination pages for a detailed account of what to expect. Most areas do require surfers to be an intermediate or advanced level but we do also cater for those wanting to learn to surf or progress at a more basic level.
With our help, you can avoid the painful process of researching & organising a surf vacation & simply concentrate on enjoying a unique surf holiday to Sumatra. And what’s more, we can cater for solo surfers, large or small groups and even travelling families. Feel free to browse through our camps and of course message us with any questions you might have.
