Beng Bengs Surf Camp is a beachfront guest house located in front of one of the Mentawai Islands most iconic waves, E-bay.
The camp is owned and run by Cristian & Massimo who are 2 of the friendliest people you can hope to meet and will go out of their way to make sure their guests expectations are always met. The camp is located on Pulau Masokut aka Nyang Nyang and is home to 5 world class waves. E-bay is the closest and you can paddle from the beach! Pitstops is only a 5 minute walk around the next bay. A little further away is Nipussi, Beng bengs and Bank Vaults that are all reachable within 5-10 mins thanks to the camps 2 speedboats.
Guests can to travel to the camp from Padang 3 days a week with trips starting & ending in Padang every Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.
Catering up to 10 guests, this 4 bedroom guesthouse is built in traditional Mentawaian fashion using beautiful hardwoods and authentic design.
2 of the bedrooms have double beds and the other 2 rooms have bunk beds. Each room is equipped with a/c, fans, mosquito nets and electric plugs. All linens are provided. Shared bathrooms are located out the back of the main building.

Beng Bengs Surf Camp operates 2 speedboats to transport you to the surf each day.
Each boat is equipped with surfboard racks, and seating for its guests as well as a roof to shade you from the tropical sun. The smaller boat can carry 6 guests using its one 40 hp engine. The larger boat can carry up to 8 guests with its two 40 hp engines. Guests have a huge amount of flexibility to find the waves they want. Massimo and Cristian will make sure everyone is stoked every day. And the beauty is that E-bay, Pitstops, Beng Bengs and Nipussi are also within walking distance adding to your impressive wave options.

Trip Information
Beng Beng Surf Camp is ideally located in beautiful bay in front of E-bay, one of Indonesia's premier left hander's. Guests can literally paddle out from the camps beach front location. Its also only a short 5-10 minute stroll to Pitstops, a super fun right that breaks in the adjacent bay. Guests can choose to surf these waves whenever they like (swell allowing) or if they prefer they can join the other guests and take a speedboat to surf one of the regions other 20 or so waves. The surf camp is located in the heart of the Playgrounds surf region, so there really are endless choices.

Guests need to fly into Padang Airport, West Sumatra
We recommend using https://www.skyscanner.net/ and flying into either Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - or Jakarta, Indonesia. From KL, there is usually one morning flight (1hr) with Air Asia as well as a lunchtime flight to Padang. From the hotel district, the ferry port is about a 10 minute taxi ride.
Travel days from Padang to Siberut are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We suggest Saturday to Tuesday as a standard trip. But for example, guests can also do 7 or 14 days (Tues-Tues, Sat-Sat) or 11 days (Tues-Sat).

A 15% deposit is required to secure your booking. Initial deposit is non-refundable but transferable or exchanged with a friend to take your place on that specific date (passengers are responsible for finding their own replacements).
Balance of payment is due on arrival in Padang and is 100% non-refundable.
Deposit Payment:
A 20% deposit will be due within 10 days of making your reservation - by PayPal
Final balance:
The remaining balance will be due on arrival in Padang where you will be able to pay in Cash or Credit/Debit Card.
Travel Insurance is mandatory for your safety and no guest will be able to depart on any trip unless they have copies of their travel insurance documents before departure. We advise all guests take out insurance upon booking in case of accident or personal problems prior to your trip.
