When using the term "Surf Camp Sumatra" - we refer to the website www.surfcampsumatra.com. All Surf Camp Sumatra's bookings are on behalf of each respective camp. Please note Surf Camp Sumatra does not take any part in the actual running of the camps. Only use Surf Camp Sumatra as a way of booking. Any legal matters deriving from a trip to the camp/charter boat will not be directed at Surf Camp Sumatra but should be made towards the owners of the camps/charter boats.

All guests must abide by, agree to and respect each camp and/or charter boats own terms and conditions.

Each camp and charter boat featured on the site is an independent surf operator and is not part of or in partnership with Surf Camp Sumatra. Surf Camp Sumatra acts as an agent only. We sell various travel related products on behalf of numerous transport, accommodation and other service providers, such as land based accommodation and boat charter operators. Surf Camp Sumatra's obligation is to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and the travel service providers. Surf Camp Sumatra has no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty of representation regarding their standards. All bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these service providers.

For all surf trips, travel insurance is mandatory (upon booking of the surf trip).

Initial deposit is non-refundable but transferable or exchanged with a friend to take your place on that specific date (guests are responsible for finding their own replacements).

Balance of payments is due 60-90 days prior to trip commencement and non-refundable 100% (but transferable).

Surf Camp Sumatra is not liable in any situation to pay extra expenses, which may be due to delays, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, terrorism, acts of god etc.

Surf Camp Sumatra is not responsible for any guest’s actions and will not be involved in any legal matters related to crime, drugs or anything that is against the law, both in the guest’s country of origin and/or Indonesia.

All guests must have 6 months validity in their passport. Surf Camp Sumatra will not be held responsible for any matters related to immigration and take no responsibility regards to customers visas.

Surf Camp Sumatra recommends that guests seek medical advice before departure and take the necessary medicines/vaccinations instructed by their doctor.

Surf Camp Sumatra recommends all guests should check all safety issues, travel warnings, information and advisories related to entering Indonesia before departing their country of origin. It is the guest’s decision to enter Indonesia if there is danger present.

All guests, if under the age of 18, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

All guests travelling to Sumatra do so at their own risk. Travelling to remote locations may lead to unknown dangers in which case all guests take total responsibility.

Surf Camp Sumatra will do our utmost to maintain the prices indicated, however prices may need to be adjusted due to circumstances beyond our control. Surf Camp Sumatra reserves the right to amend prices, before or after any booking, until the full payment is received.

Surf Camp Sumatra reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time.

Surf Camp Sumatra is secure with all booking information and will not forward on information obtained, except for matters related to the law which directly affect Surf Camp Sumatra.
