Overlooking Ujung Bocur, the most consistent wave in the area, the camp is perfectly positioned in South Sumatra’s most popular surfing area. Catering for a maximum of 14 surfers in 4 bungalows and a large private 6 person "surf house", you're guaranteed plenty of space, privacy, as well as peace and quiet in between your surfs. The camp also enjoys idyllic sunset views as well as majestic panoramic vistas of Ujung Bocur. Social areas include comfy couches, complimentary wifi, board games, and satellite TV.

Ujung Bocur Bungalows offer four spacious twin/double cottages as well as a “surf house” bungalow for larger groups & families.
Each bungalow is 100% private and completely detached for added privacy and security. Constructed from local hardwoods the bungalows have a Sumatran feel with a twist of western comfort with mosquito nets, A/C and closet for your belongings. Complete with your own contemporary bathroom as well as a private shaded veranda, guests can also enjoy ocean vistas and distant views of the regions spectacular mountain scenery. Rooms can be adjusted to accommodate either 2 single beds or alternatively a double bed for couples.
The “Surfer House” (below) is perfect for groups of 4-6 guests & consists of 2 bedrooms; 1st floor with 2 beds & the 2nd floor with 4 beds (includes balcony). Also includes 2 private bathrooms.Surf House, upstairs

We have continuous 24 hour security patrolling the grounds to keep all our gear safe.

The camp also offers a lounge, the perfect social area & comes complete with comfy couches, hammocks, chill out areas, a separate bar snack menu, and of course cold drinks. Wifi is free for all guests as well as satellite TV for those who can´t miss the big game or the news from back home!
Attention to detail isn’t lost in the surf camps food preparation either.
Daily breakfast options usually include fried rice/noodles, eggs & toast, jaffles, omelettes, pancakes as well as juice, tea & coffee.
Lunch and dinner is focused on Indonesian dishes with fresh chicken, fish or beef curries, beef rendang & sate chicken as well as fresh veggies & rice. Western dishes include crumbed schnitzel, pasta, BBQ or fried chicken, pizza, sandwiches & oven baked veggies.

The surf region stretches around 50 miles and is accessed by a long twisting road that takes about 1.5 hours to reach all the surf breaks.
Motor Bikes with surfboard rack are typically around $5 / day depending on availability and length of rental.
Car hire with driver is usually around $40 / day. But of course pricing can vary from driver to driver.
Please note fuel will be additional but is relatively cheap in the region.
For those looking to explore this raw part of Indonesia won’t be disappointed. There are no tour busses to be found but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of unique and interesting things to do and see.

Trip Information
Guests staying at Ujung Bocur Bungalows will have direct access to the regions premier wave, Ujung Bocur. The surf camp is located in prime position so you can paddle out from the beach whenever you choose to. There's no need to go anywhere else - if you prefer not to!
As soon as you've checked in, you're free to surf! And when you're keen to explore the rest of the region, grab a motor bike (approx $5/day with rack) & Viul the resort manager will either take you himself or give you exact directions to find the areas other surf spots.

Bandar Lampung Airport to the camp
Upon arrival at Bandar Lampung (TKG) Radin Inten II Airport, guests will be greeted by one of our staff members with pre-arranged transport and you'll be taken to direct to the camp. The transfer time is about 6 hours which includes a brief stop to grab some food half way through the journey. Vehicles are usually a Toyota Kijang and we keep the maximum passengers to 4 so there’s plenty of room for a comfortable journey and enough space for all your belongings.
Please note: We can collect you and drop you off any time.
Hotels in Bandar Lampung
Guests usually don’t stay in Bandar Lampung as there’s generally no need to. We can always collect you and drop you off any time to/from the airport. However we suggest staying at either of the following options if our guests prefer to overnight in the city.
