The Saraina is a 64' "motor cruiser" surf charter boat built in 2003 that had a full refit in 2022.
Saraina specializes in providing well run surf trips for smaller size groups. Small groups means trips can be better tailored to individual guests' desired wave type and when you arrive at that empty lineup there are just that many more waves to go around.
Delivering big trips for a small price, Saraina focuses on having excellent food, friendly and knowledgeable staff as well as overall fantastic customer service on a well laid out comfortable boat.
Saraina was given an extensive refit in 2022 including the entire exterior, engine overhaul and cabin area upgrade. A larger and more powerful speedboat has also been given a sun canopy to keep your drinks (and your photographer!) out of the sun. Small details such as each bunk being fit with an int'l power outlet (240V) and multiple USB charge ports go a long way to add to your comfort level.
Most trips are focused on the Mentawais, but a handful of trips each year head further north to the Telo Islands & beyond.

TAKAYUKI WAKITA
The Mentawai islands have such perfect waves, to have the opportunity to surf there means a lot to us. The highlight of our trip was to be able to score good HT rights! Dedi is the real local Mentawain and all the crew on the boat were super kind to us. We had a great time on the Saraina!
IMOGEN CALDWELL
To say I can't wait to go back is an understatement! Pristine, uncrowded waters, good food and the knowledge of a local legend to navigate us to the most perfect left handers I could ever imagine. Can't wait for what 2017 holds for me in the Mentawai Islands aboard Saraina.
RAY COLLINS
The best crew in the mentawai's! Its incredible how many times we have scored unbelievable waves with not a soul in sight, only for the other boats to turn up a day late, you can't beat Dede's local knowledge and infectious smile!!
