When booking a trip aboard the Kuda Laut, guests will have the chance to surf either the Mentawai Islands (the whole region) – or further north to the Telo Islands (as well as parts of the Northern Mentawai). If you’re booking a large group then you’ll usually get to choose which region. Smaller groups and single surfers should enquire as to which region the charter will be heading to.
Both regions offer a nice mix of waves, so it’s best to check out our destinations pages and check the detailed description of all the surf breaks listed to get an idea of which region you’d prefer to visit.
* Surf Breaks - Mentawai (Playgrounds)

Awesome boat and crew. We scored waves everywhere. Food was top notch and plentiful. Always a cold beer ready after a surf. It was pure magic.
By Wally
We were looked after like kings. The Mentawai islands were all I expected them to be and the surf was great. The boat was great and the crew were even better.
By Pete
A great surf trip where I pushed my surfing and relaxing to new limits! The crew helped us to seek out & surf the best waves we'd ever seen.
By Simon
What this boat lacks in size it makes up in their knowledge of the area and the service the crew provides. We'll be back!
