Surf Report: March 15-31

Weather:
More clear sunny days during the the early dry season with light and variable winds, mostly offshore in the morning with a bit of sideshore in the afternoons. Some of the best sunsets ever in the past few weeks.

Swell
:
Consistent medium size swell hitting all the Krui breaks with a "one day miracle" west swell turning on Krui Left and Krui Right.

Off shore days:
Light offshore winds everyday in the morning. Only a few days of onshore winds led everyone up the coast to perfect offshore's at Jenny's.

Best sessions:
The best sessions were at the Peak and Leftovers with some sick barrels from the swell that hit during the weekend. Got some great 4 foot pits at the Peak and Krui Right was pumping in the morning. Slingshots had some good days with several people enjoying the sucky take off and racetrack down the line. Krui Left and Right have had several days of great medium size waves.

Crowd
:
Late march was pretty impressive, lots of waves and very few surfers. April brings the start of the "main season" with crowds slowly starting to increase in the area. The overall vibe in the line-up has been mellow and everyone has been getting their fair share of waves.

The waves out the front of the camp have been small but super fun during March

Surf Report: March 1-14

Weather: Plenty of clear sunny days as we move toward the dry season but still a lot of rain in the afternoon. Light and variable winds, mostly offshore in the morning with a several days onshore in the afternoons. Fantastic sunsets with cloud formations on the horizon.

Swell: Consistent medium size swell hitting all the krui breaks with west swell turning on Krui Left and Krui Right. The Peak consistently 2-3 foot with lots of barrels. A short wave period meant that anyone caught inside got a lot of waves on the head.

Off shore days
: Light offshore winds everyday in the morning. Only a few days of onshore winds.

Best sessions
: The best sessions were at the Peak and Leftovers with some sick barrels from the swell that hit during the weekend. Krui Left and Right have had several days of great medium size waves; lots of open faces and the occasional barrel to enjoy.

Crowd
: Early March was pretty low key, lots of waves and very few takers.

After thoughts:
A pretty decent start to the season. Plenty of perfect days thrown into the mix. Of course a few blustery days and a couple of flat days but overall pretty stoked. The forecast looks promising (see below).
