The longest standing camp - in the whole Lampung area. This camp is ideally positioned in front of the "Peak" - a wedging A-Frame barrel as well as Krui left & right. Sleeping up to 12 people, guests can choose to stay in one of the three twin share cottages or in one of the three homestay bedrooms. With equal distance to the furthest spots North and South of Krui combined. Although relatively basic, it's a great no frills choice for those wishing to maximise empty line-ups.
The Krui Surf Camp was established in Way Redak village in 1998, making us the first and longest continually operating hotel on the west coast of Lampung. We are strategically located in the
middle of the west coast, 3 kilometers south of Krui. Our position provides easy access to the
area’s many great surf spots as well as other natural attractions. The dramatic wedging “Peak” is just out front, and Krui lefts and rights are just a few minutes down the beach. Set on a 160 metre stretch of beach front land, it's a great swimming area for kids too. Our 3 beachfront cottages, each with private bath, offer safe, comfortable lodging and 3 homestay rooms in the
house provide a
great base for exploring the area’s marine, coastal, and inland attractions.
Our facilities can serve groups from 2 to 12 and offer you some of the best service in the area.
We serve a variety of healthy meals, with a combination of western, Indonesian and Mexican cuisines. Guest can choose from a set meal plan or ala carte.

Things to do
We work with wildlife conservation organizations and the department of forestry in their work protecting the areas rare and endangered wildlife such as the Sumatran Tiger, Sun Bear, Sumatran Rhinoceros, Malayan Tapir, Sumatran Elephant, Sumatran Serow, Siamang, Agile Gibbon, Clouded Leopard, Wild Dog, Reticulated Python, Water Monitor and much more. We also have a close relationship with the west Lampung turtle conservation center operating on the wide white sand beaches south of Krui where the Green turtle, Ridley’s turtle and the Leatherback Turtle all nest.
The southern tip of Sumatra is a migratory flight corridor between Asia and the austral-pacific region, more than 450 species of birds can be found in the jungles south of Krui and in the hills above town you can visit coffee, pepper, cloves, chocolate, and damar resin plantations, or take a short trek and watch villagers reaping or sowing rice in the paddies. We can arrange jungle tours in the national park to hidden waterfalls in the Bukit Barisan Mountains. Whatever you want to do we can help you do it safely and minimum of hassle.

Camp Overview
Mandiri Beach Club – New 2010. Great value for money & no other camps close by. Mod cons (wifi internet, pool table - poker table!) and only a stones throw from the super consistant beach break of Mandiri. 10, 20 or 30 day packages available.
Ombak Inda - Longest standing camp in the area. Ideally located right in front of the main wave Ujung Bocur. Also extremely comfortable. Offers a more relaxing / social approach by not having a TV or DVD player. Only Packages available.
Damai Bungalows– Also ideally located right in front of Ujung Bocur. Extremely comfortable “Bali Style” accommodation, all mod cons. Slightly more pricey than the other camps, but once you’re there you can see why. Contact us for more details.
Krui Surf Camp– Located in front of "The Peak" just a few km's away from the town of Krui. Certainly no frills, but also comfortable. This is the areas longest running losman. Guests will benefit from it's prime location and it's warm and welcoming hosts.
Mentawais Surf Camp- New 2010. The perfect Mentawai retreat. Maximum 8 people. 4 twin rooms.
3 of them ensuite. All mod cons (Sat’ TV / Internet). Situated on South Siberut in the Playgrounds / Nyang Nyang area.
